What is it?

LSC is a program implemented by Faribault & Martin Counties. It is intended to operate one weekend, Friday to Sunday, every two months. The weekend consists primarily of supervised work activities but also includes group decision-making discussions, journaling, reflection on what behaviors are causing the problem(s), physical activity, environmental education and other topics. The weekend is intended to be a consequence for some misbehavior – a response intended to deter future misbehavior. More importantly, it is an opportunity for kids to reflect on the choices they make.
