Minnesota’s income assistance programs help individuals and families with low income move to financial stability. Families may qualify for multiple programs including food, cash programs, child care, health care and other basic needs. Each program has eligibility requirements and all program participants’ situations are different.

The fraud investigation unit, investigates allegations or intentional withholding, concealing or misrepresenting information which affects financial grant eligibility or amount of payments.
